Barber’s Driving School is certified by the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) to provide the 20-hr Georgia Risk Reduction Program, also known as Georgia DUI School. The program consists of two required steps:
Step 1: Assessment Component – $100
(GARRP Online Needs Survey)
The first step is a comprehensive screening tool to assess alcohol and drug use and how it impacts driving behavior.

I took this course. It genuinely was an eye-opening experience and surprised me. Mark was a wonderful instructor! the class was simple to register for (registered only 2 hours BEFORE class started) zoom meeting was easy to access and I enjoyed the ease of which I was able to get my score for the test. The course was informative, and the instructor shared a lot of her personal knowledge and driving experience, which really helped make the lessons engaging and practical. The crash videos were eye opening and definitely made me more aware of the importance of safe driving. I approached attending this course with apprehension. I didn't want to really do it but I was open to receiving new information. I was really impressed by the course material. It's laid out really well and easily understood.

I took this class as a recommendation. While I didn't think I needed to take it, I'm glad I did. I learned some new things, got a chance to refresh on several things, and was reminded of why I do and don't do certain things while driving, especially since having my children. Mrs. McCann made this class VERY entertaining, super informative, and more interesting than I expected. I really appreciate her transparency because a lot of teachers, especially for certain types of classes, don't share really personal or intimate details that their students can relate to. I did a risk reduction class through barbers driving school with Mr. Andre. The class consisted of 20 hours through 3 days, though it was long, he made it very easy and comfortable. He went through the material very thoroughly and was extremely patient with everyone in the class. If I had to recommend anyone to this class I would definitely choose barbers driving school, especially with Mr. Andre!

The DUI class was highly informative and enlightening. The instructor Andre was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He taught it in a way that kept you alert and interested. I recommend attending even if you are not mandated to because it really makes you think and make better choices.

I had a bad feeling that this class was gonna be extremely boring. Boy was I wrong. Granted I don't want to do it again...I really enjoyed this class. The instructor presented it in a really good and entertaining way. If I had do this class again I would pick the same instructor 100x over.

This course really made me look at the risk of DUI. The instructor Miss Jas Tarver was really cool and laid back and made the course really fun. I have learned a lot and will think before this high risk decision is made again. Thanks Miss Tarver you deserve a raise for sure.

Great experience. Definitely sign up for Andre. He really cares about his students and making sure you have the information to pass. He gives people plenty of leeway when having issues in zoom. 10/10 recommend.

Jerry was an excellent teacher and really helped me get over my nerves about driving in general and on the road. I recommend Barbers and him to any new drivers. It's worth the cost and the time.

Mr. Adams was very patient with the teenagers in the classroom and on zoom. He gave us much needed breaks and answered the many questions people had. Taking the classroom courses my eyes were opened even more to driving isn’t just about driving, there’s much more to it. Makes me very aware of what I should be doing to prevent serious injuries to myself or others. Miss Sylvie is a great instructor. She has a talent at teaching you how to drive. She’s patient as well and has encouraging words. How she is overall just encouraged me to really to want to drive and be a good driver. One day the AC in the car kept going out and she offered me a cold water. The way she acted towards the situation was still very positive. I had a really good experience at Barber’s Driving School!

Our son enjoyed EVERY part of the class –he took classroom and behind the wheel training. He drove 3h with Mr. Donnie and 3h with Mrs. Sylvie. They BOTH were AMAZING! Sharp on time for pick up and took their time to explaining and comment on our child’s driving. He was nervous about parallel parking – he is a pro now and teaching me how to do it. Don’t let Mr. Green army attitude intimidate you- our son walked out of the car sliming and joking with him after his road test. Outstanding service by everyone: the ladies in the office, classroom and road instructors, and the road testing individuals!!!

So I was hesitant on spending money for driver education as my daughter has her learner permit already. I wanted to add some formal training prior to driving test for her license. Im telling everyone it was worth every penny. After working working with Sylvie, my daughter's confidence and skill in driving improved substantially. I would definitely recommend Barber.

I have not taken my drivers test yet but I can tell you that Sylvie was the best instructor that I had. The 3 hours that I had spent with her were the best and really informative. I had another 3 hours with Jerry and all though he was not that great instructor wise I had a wonderful experience with this driving school.

This is 2nd time using Barber's Driving School to assist in teaching our young adults how to drive. Their course combines the importance of classroom and actual driving lessons to build confidence and best safety practices.
We are pleased with the classroom time with our instructor Mark. The driving instructor Kevin was very patient, impactful and an excellent teacher. He's taught both my kids, and its remarkable the difference this has made.

Had the opportunity to learn from Mr. Steve. Had a lot of worries before the service, after the 6 hour behind-the-wheel service, not perfect but definitely gained a bit more confidence. Now, just need to experience it more by myself. If you're a complete beginner or just looking to brush up on your driving skills, Barber's Driving School will help cover the basics.

Just had my third child complete her drivers ed with Barber’s. They are professional and responsive on the office side of things. On the classroom side, Jane is wonderful. The classroom part is LONG but necessary and valuable. On the driving side, my last two children have had Kevin Greene as their instructor, and I can’t sing his praises enough. They both loved him. My daughter had very little time behind the wheel prior to driving with Kevin, and her anxiety was through the roof. After two three-hour sessions, she is confident and has a totally different outlook on driving. She came back from the first session smiling from ear-to-ear. Kevin is very thorough and really identifies with the kids. They like his instruction and his personality. We give him an A+, as well as the school as a whole.
